Dead or Alive - Oingo Boingo

Everyone knows Dead Man’s Party, but I feel this song is really a better ‘zombie song’.

Most of Boingo is pretty spooky, but notables that are overtly about the dead/halloweeny things are: No One Lives Forever, We Close Our Eyes (sort of a peaceful song but I still see it as being about death), Sucker for Mystery, No Spill Blood (based on Island of Dr Moreau), and Don’t Go In the Basement.

I have mad love for Oingo Boingo. My photography teacher used to play them all the time in class while we were off developing pictures and editing videos.

Plot twist: The next companion is a normal girl/boy who only dies once in their lifetime and has no remarkable back story but he thinks they’re wonderful because they are human and the Doctor needs reminding that you don’t need to be a mystery to be remarkable.
